Tidy Start Menu
I’ve been using Tidy Start Menu for a couple of years – and as the Windows XP program list started to get long again, I went back to it to try to get rid of some clutter. In combination with the judicious use of the excellent Revo
Uninstaller, and it becomes a lot easier to find things. It’s simple conceptually – you can assign program file entries into any of nine categories (Office, Games, Utilities, Entertainment, Internet, Programming, Graphics, Security, and Other), thus reducing clutter. That’s the freeware version – in the reasonably priced $20 paid version, you can create categories.
